Much work continues although much behind the scenes. I spent a happy hour or so in the NRM at York digging out drawings for the project. As with any searches for this project, you have to remember to search 10xx, County, and 99xx; the latter being the early number given to the class before changing to 10xx later.
On the physical front, the crossheads have started to be machined at the Great Central Railway. This picture hot off the press.
